S-28 Gas Turbine Engine V1
The first iteration of the S-28 produced 850 horsepower. It featured a deeper combustion chamber with rounder edges, and was famously used on the 'Black Widow' racing Beetle that Turbonique frequently used for promotion.
It is unclear when this model was replaced by its 1,000 horsepower successor.
